No computer company has been as consistent as Apple in producing computers that are as innovative conceptually as they are visually. This talented group is responsible for the metallic-hued, ultra-thin Macintosh "sculpture for the desktop" to the translucent, graciously curved iMac, which reinvented the computer's place in the home (and the office) and the the sleek, sophisticated titanium PowerBook G4.

Apple's in-house design group has been crucial both in defining the company's identity and in helping it to survive (and prosper) in a cutthroat industry. The design team's work has been recognized in a variety of awards, ranging from inclusion in the permanent collection of the New York Museum of Modern Art to repeated I.D. Design Review and IDEA awards.
