Since it opened in October 1999, the Walter P. Chrysler Museum ushered thousands of car fanatics down memory lane - or gasoline alley.

Other than displaying cars and trucks significant to the history of DaimlerChrysler's present American marquee, the Museum includes bygone marquees significant to the Company's past like DeSoto, Nash, Hudson, and Willys. More than just a collection of great cars, though, the Museum offers context in the form of historical advertisements and photographs, a unique gift shop and it teaches with comparative label materials and interactive exhibitions. Video presentations focus on such topics as performance engineering, the work force, and marketing gimmicks, and interactive stations permit visitors to view short clips of period film footage.
