Forward Collision Warning System A function of the Adaptive Cruise Control system that warns you if you are closing too fast on a preceding vehicle, and if the brakes aren't applied fast enough, it will provide additional braking force.

- Blind Spot Monitoring System

The Blind Spot Monitoring Systemen_always_check_sorrounding_before assists you in making safer lane changes by alerting you when another vehicle is within your vehicle's blind-spot zone. Sensors scan either side of the vehicle, with a detection zone that covers approximately one lane over on each side. When the system detects a vehicle in the blind spot zone, a visual icon on the exterior mirror will light. You can also program the system to sound an audible warning as well.
The Rear Cross Path Detection Systemen_always_check_sorrounding_before helps you when backing out of parking spaces where the view of oncoming vehicles may be blocked. It warns you of a vehicle crossing into your path when you're moving in Reverse. The system ignores parked cars, but illuminates an icon in the exterior rearview mirrors if a vehicle approaches from either the left or right You can also program the system to sound an audible warning as well. - Two-Mode Electronic Stability Control

Electronic Stability Control monitors steering input and vehicle motion. It senses when there's a difference between your intended path and the actual path of the vehicle. It then applies selective braking, and sometimes reduces engine torque, to help guide your vehicle back on to your intended path.
Two-Mode Electronic Stability Control allows you to select "Full On" or "Partial Off". Partial Off disables the engine torque management and only applies selective braking interaction.
- Hill Start Assist

Hill Start Assist uses the Electronic Stability Control sensors to help prevent vehicle rollback on a steep grade. The system maintains brake pressure for a short period of time from when you take your foot off the brake pedal until you step on the accelerator. It releases brake pressure in proportion to the amount of throttle applied as the vehicle starts to move in the intended direction of travel.
- All-Speed Traction Control

All-speed traction control limits wheel spin during acceleration so that the drive wheels have maximum traction. It's particularly useful when starting off in wet or icy conditions. If the system detects wheel slip, it applies brake pressure to the slipping wheel or wheels and if necessary, may reduce engine power to maintain traction and vehicle stability.
- ParkSense® Front & Rear Park Assist System

The available ParkSense® Front & Rear Park Assist Systemen_adaptive_cruise_11 uses front and rear sensors which send out ultrasonic waves when the vehicle is driven in forward or reverse at low speeds. The sensors then pick up the echo of the signal when it bounces off an object, determining relative distance to the object. A readout display in the instrument cluster notifies you of the proximity of the object.
- ParkView® Rear Back Up Camera

The ParkView Rear Back Up Cameraen_adaptive_cruise_11 assists you in detecting obstacles out of your line of sight when moving in reverse. It provides a wide-angle view of the area immediately behind your Chrysler 300 and displays it on the Uconnect Touch display screen. The image includes on-screen guide lines to help you when maneuvering into narrow parking spaces.
- Four-Wheel Disc Brakes

Standard four-wheel vented disc brakes include:
High-performance brake linings (on the Chrysler 300C) provide superior fade resistance and outstanding pedal feel;
A four-channel antilock braking system monitors the speed of each wheel individually, allowing individual wheel braking for superior control;
Electronic Brake Force Distribution regulates braking pressure front-to-rear to optimize stopping distances and control under all vehicle-loading conditions;
Ready-Alert Braking senses if you lift your foot off the accelerator, and if sensed, applies a slight amount of brake pressure to make sure the brake pads and discs are prepared for a panic stop;
Brake Assist senses emergency braking by detecting the rate of brake application and boosts the power as needed. Under certain conditions, brake assist may reduce overall stopping distance by eliminating the delay caused by not braking hard enough soon enough;
Hydraulic Boost Compensation runs the ABS pump "full-time" if it senses a failure, to ensure the brakes will perform as normal until the failure is serviced
Rainy Brake Support removes water from brake pads by applying a small amount of pressure to the caliper. It engages when the windshield wipers are activated. - Rain-Sensitive Wipers

The rain-sensitive automatic wiper system senses moisture on the windshield and activates the wipers automatically. The system is especially useful for sudden road splash from other vehicles. Now you don't have to take your hands off the wheel to adjust the wiper controls as the rain level increases or decreases.
- SmartBeam® and Adaptive Bi-Xenon HID Headlamps

The all-new Chrysler 300 reacts before you do with available SmartBeam intelligent headlamps. The headlamps automatically dim when they sense an oncoming vehicle, and automatically brighten at dusk. So you can set them and forget them.
Available Adaptive Bi-Xenon High-Intensity Discharge (HID) Headlamps actually burn brighter and last longer. The HID low beam headlamps provide approximately three times the light output of conventional reflector lamps for improved nighttime illumination. - Multi-Functional Mirrors

The power exterior mirrors available on the all-new Chrysler 300 are a perfect example of purposeful technology.
In addition to having a heat feature, being adjustable with the touch of a button, dimming automatically to help reduce glare at night, and automatically tilting down when the vehicle is shifted into reverse they house integrated turn signals, blind spot notification, and approach lamps that illuminate the side of the vehicle in crisp, white LED light. Talk about multitasking. - Tire Pressure Monitoring System

A system that constantly monitors tire pressure, the standard premium Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) displays the amount of each tire's pressure through the Electronic Vehicle Information Center, always keeping you informed.
