FAQ

ABOUT CHRYSLER PACIFICA

Yes, all-wheel-drive (AWD) capability is available on the 2026 Chrysler Pacifica Select, Limited and Pinnacle gas-powered trims for confident control in changing driving conditions. AWD is not available on Chrysler Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid models.

The 2026 Chrysler Pacifica is classified as a minivan. It offers available seating of up to eight passengers and features a cabin complete with comfort and technological amenities. The Chrysler Pacifica also offers available all-wheel-drive capability and outstanding city and highway performance. This highly versatile minivan is the ideal vehicle for nearly any journey.

Chrysler Pacifica models come in an array of trim levels. There’s the entry-level Select trim, the enhanced Limited trim and the fully decked-out Pinnacle trim. Each of these Chrysler Pacifica trims come with their own selection of standard and available features, so use our Modelizer to discover which trim has the features you need.

When comparing gas vs hybrid, the main difference between our two Pacifica models is their powertrains. The Chrysler Pacifica runs on a traditional internal combustion engine (ICE) powered entirely by gasoline. The Chrysler Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid, on the other hand, uses a hybrid powertrain that supplements gas propulsion with electricity from an internal battery.

There are other minor differences as well—for example, the Chrysler Pacifica can be equipped for towing, while towing is not available on the Chrysler Pacific Plug-in Hybrid. You can also find our Stow ‘n Go® Seating and Storage System in both the second and third rows of most of the gas-powered Chrysler Pacifica models, while the Chrysler Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid and gas-powered Pinnacle only have it in the third row.

The Chrysler Pacifica minivan was launched in 2016 and went into production that year. The first model year was 2017. Since its debut, the Chrysler Pacifica has faithfully served families and road trippers, delivering both comfort and performance.

The 2026 Chrysler Pacifica is 204.3 inches in overall length. Its exterior design offers aerodynamic performance while the interior provides outstanding passenger and cargo room.

The standard safety features on the Chrysler Pacifica are Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go, a Pedestrian Automatic Emergency Braking System, LaneSense® Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist, a Blind Spot Monitoring System, a ParkSense® Rear Park Assist System and Rear Cross Path Detection. More information about these features can be found on the vehicle’s Safety & Security page.
